The 6th Youth Int’l Conference

The 6th Youth International Conference was Completed Successfully in August 2020. The topics were on Culture and Environmental Awareness. The conference was held partially online due to the pandemic.

From August 3rd to 4th, 2020, the Heart to Heart Student Organization headquartered in Silicon Valley, USA, successfully held the 6th Youth International Culture and Environmental Awareness Exchange Conference in Shenzhen and Tangshan online. More than 20 representatives of high school students from six countries in the world and four special guests attended the meeting, sharing their unique insights on cultural differences and environmental protection measures with hundreds of participants.

Williams, a researcher at Harvard University and the founder and creative director of Silver House, gave an immersive introduction to how African Americans have unremittingly explored, integrated into American society, and worked hard to counter prejudice since the Harlem Renaissance. After Williams stepped down as a researcher at Harvard University, he founded Silver House. The project focuses on creating a community space that integrates art, education, and assembly activities, thereby strengthening the close ties between communities and economic development, and actively speaking out for black issues. At the annual rally held last year, Silver House gathered more than 50,000 participants to jointly express sharp views on current social issues.

Principal Delgado of Cambrian Academy in Silicon Valley, California, combined his own experience and teaching experience, emphatically introduced American high school culture and campus life. The principal’s summary clarified the differences between Chinese and Western education, their respective advantages and disadvantages, and encouraged international students to use the various educational resources around them more boldly. Professor Jones, who also has a broad academic background, analyzed the diversity and trends of American higher education in detail to provide references for universities and graduate students’ applications and professional choices. In his speech, Professor Jones repeatedly emphasized the importance of higher education from different aspects and encouraged international students to participate in the school’s sports and activity groups to integrate into university life more quickly. The three speakers also gave insightful views and suggestions on environmental issues the next day.

Subsequently, more than 20 representatives of high school students also expressed their opinions on cultural and environmental issues from dozens of different angles, combining their cultural backgrounds and hobbies.
